The "Traditional Martial Arts Federation", is a non profit organization dedicated to providing access to archives of historical information and sources of traditional instruction, as well as the promotion of friendship and cooperation among leaders and enthusiasts of martial arts. With its headquarters in Brussels in Belgium (Europe), TMAF welcomes members throughout the world. All martial arts enthusiasts who are in accord with the objectives of the Traditional Martial Arts Federation are welcome to apply for Membership.
The Federation sponsors exhibitions, tournaments and publishes pertinent information concerning Martial Arts. Among the objectives of TMAF are the expansion of interest Traditional Martial Arts, the establishment of communication, friendship, understanding and harmony among members, the development of the minds and bodies of members and the promotion of global understanding and personal growth.
As an international certification headquarters for the martial arts, TMAF commends meritorious individuals by granting degrees, grades and awards.

A membership is free. You will benefit of our mailing list and the support of our organization.
All you have to do is to sends us the application form. Once you are a member you can use the TMAF logo on your documents and your uniforms. You can become a member as a individual, as a school/dojo and as a organization.

Grading committee

On your request the grading committee organize Dan en Teaching examinations. The TMAF will provide the successful candidates a Federation Certification. With other grading's, not organize by the grading committee, the TMAF can provide you a General Certification.

Next event.

The general assembly will hold on the 4 may 2008 in Brussels. Members with voting power received the invitation by postal mail.
